Boat Cruises
Ocean Safaris and Ocean Blue cruises leave from Central Beach on a daily basis. After a short briefing, an exhilarating beach launch will be the start of your adventure. The boats operate three to four times a day, seven days a week, depending on sea and weather conditions. The duration of each tour is approximately 2 hours, life jackets, windbreakers and refreshments are provided.
Elephant Park
Here the legacy of the Knysna Elephant lives on. The experience is somewhat of a closer kind than at Kruger or Addo - visitors are allowed to touch and feed the elephants. The Knysna Elephant Park and The Elephant Sanctuary are both 10 minutes by car from the centre of Plettenberg Bay.
Monkeyland
Monkeyland is unique as a primate sanctuary. It is home to many varied species of monkey from several continents, which were captive bred prior to their release at Monkeyland. Situated 16 km east of Plett, it offers visitors safaris conducted by game rangers. This is the world's only multi specie, free roaming primate sanctuary.
Birds Of Eden
Birds of Eden is the World's largest single span aviary. The sanctuary provides a better life for 3 000+ previously caged birds. A large variety of both indigenous and exotic birds can be seen at the sanctuary, however Birds of Eden will eventually be home to the largest collection of free-flight African birds in the World.
